Apple - Setting Email Accounts

You can set one or multiple accounts in your iPhone or iPad. The idea is to centralize the email services in one spot. Apple offers an easy way to achieve this because in their mail app you can list your different accounts even if they are from different services providers (Google, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.)
  1. Tap “Settings”.
  2. Then tap “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”.
  3. Next, tap “Add Account”.
  4. Select your Email provider or Other if it is not in the list.
  5. Enter your email information. (Usually your email address & password)
  6. The “Mail” service should be set green however the other one (Contacts, Calendars and Notes) are optional* > tap “Save”
  7. Tap on the name of your email provider in the “Accounts” section
  8. Tap “Account” and under “Description” replace the Service provider name with the username of your email address to make easier for you to recognize your account
  9. You can also change the recipient name here too if you wish
  10. When finish then tap “Done”
  11. Return to the main menu
You can add multiple accounts.
*Sometimes it is better to only use the contacts, calendars and notes in one main account because running many of this services in different accounts require be very mental organized. Information must be available when we need it and if we cannot remember where it is then we are lost, and we may fail.
